Who we are

Marketr Technologies Inc. ("Marketr", "we", "us") operates the Marketr platform for discovering and growing Canadian local businesses.

Information we collect

Account information: name, email, password hash, sign-in provider identifiers.

Business information submitted by owners: legal name, addresses, phone, hours, imagery.

Usage information: pages viewed, searches performed, taps and clicks on business cards, device and browser metadata.

Voluntary submissions: quote requests, reviews, waitlist joins, incorrect-information reports.

How we use information

To operate and improve Marketr.

To surface relevant businesses in search and Marketr AI results.

To deliver leads to verified business owners.

To protect against fraud, spam, and abuse.

Legal bases (Canada / PIPEDA)

We rely on consent, legitimate interests, and contract necessity, depending on the processing activity.

Sharing

Business owners receive lead submissions the customer intentionally sends them.

Service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery, AI inference) act on our instructions under written agreements.

Legal requests: we respond to lawful requests from Canadian authorities.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide Marketr, comply with the law, and resolve disputes.

International transfers

Some service providers process data outside Canada. We use contractual protections consistent with PIPEDA.
